So we've seen a 60% turnout by Iraqi voters even at the possibility of losing their lives. That blows away the record 52% voter turnout in the US 2004 vote. Yet, we still hear very little positive information in the national media. What gives?

I'd love to hear some opinions on this.

It seems that the mainstream media has such disdain for President Bush that any good news regarding his policies and administration are ignored or ridiculed.
They also exhibit a defeatest attitude and perspective. A belief that America is always wrong. Their approach to any difficult situation is pre-emptive surrender.
